We are by appointment only as we are a boutique bridal shop so unfortunately we cannot accommodate walk - ins. We give each bride the undivided attention that she deserves to have the best experience possible. 1st appointments are 60 minutes long while 2nd appointments and Accessory/ Gown pickup appointments are 30 minutes long. You may schedule an appointment online or by calling/texting our store directly at 714. 850.1778. Please be mindful of our limited appointment slots each day. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours in advance by cancelling your appointment online or by calling/texting 714.850.1778.
As we are a cozy shop, you may bring up to 4 guests plus yourself to the appointment. Any other accommodation will have to be approved. Please e-mail Info@korabrides.com if you have any questions or concerns.
*Due to the number of last minute cancellations, if you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour timeframe of your appointment or do not show up for your appointment, you will not be able to book a future appointment without our consent. Thank you for understanding.
What is the price range and sample sizes of your gowns?
Our gowns range from $1200-$3,500 with most gowns being around the $1500-$2,000 range.
Most of our sample sizes run from US 8-12 with bridal sizes generally running smaller. However we use clipping methods for brides outside these size ranges to try on our sample gowns. Unfortunately, we do not carry plus size gowns at the moment but we would be happy to assist you in the right direction, should you need help.
When do I need to order my wedding dress? Can I purchase a sample gown?
We recommend ordering your wedding gown 8 to 12 months in advance. Gowns can take anywhere from 4-6 months to produce, as it is being made to order. Not to mention the alterations process, which starts 2-3 months prior to your wedding. As a result, the sooner you order your dress, the more time you will have to plan for the rest of your wedding!
FOR BRIDES WHO HAVE LESS THAN 6 MONTHS UNTIL THEIR WEDDING -
We do sell most of our sample gowns off our floor- please inquire with us before your appointment as samples vary depending on the season. We are a boutique shop with a curated selection of gowns and have sample gowns sold off our floor all year round. This is so that we can have room for new inventory and especially to keep our styles fresh and up to season. Samples can be as new as 2 months and our samples are taken care of in good condition.
Do you do Alterations/ Gown Cleaning & Preservation in your boutique?
Yes, we are a full service salon and do provide In-house alterations upon purchase of your dress. Almost all gowns will need some sort of alterations. All your fittings will be done in our shop and typically require 3 fittings. Our amazing seamstress can also customize your dress and veil as well! Please keep in mind that alterations costs are not included in your dress price. If you are not local, we will happily help you find a seamstress closer to where you reside. If you did not purchase your gown with us, please inquire to book an appointment by emailing Alterations@korabrides.com and we’d be happy to assist you.
We also do clean and/or preserve your gown using Wedding Gown Preservations Co. You may drop off your gown to us after your wedding or you may purchase the kit to conveniently do it yourself at home. For more information on Cleaning + Preservation, whether you purchased your gown at our boutique or not, please email Info@korabrides.com
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Before you come in to your appointment, it would be helpful to browse through different types of gowns to get a general idea of what types of dresses you may like. This will help us get started in the selection process while our stylists may also recommend a few styles that would look great on you. It is not necessary but some brides like to bring undergarments such as strapless bras and spanx as well as shoes of similar height that you will wear for your wedding.
Anything else I should be aware of before my appointment?
The popular quote, "Do not judge a book by its cover" cannot be more true than when you are shopping for the perfect wedding dress. A dress will look different ON than on a hanger, and you may be surprised to leave with a dress that is completely different from the vision you had in mind walking into our shop. Having an open mind during your appointment will definitely change your experience here with us.
Happy Shopping!
